Diagnosis and management of primary cervical carcinoma

The management of cervical cancer can be complex; thus centralised referral to a cancer centre is imperative to establish multidisciplinary patient care. An understanding of the importance of recognising the signs and symptoms of cervical cancer is necessary to diagnose the disease in its early stages, enabling radical treatments when appropriate.
